  • Pack your bag early (no stress).

  • Light movement: walk or stretch.

  • Warm up properly (be ready).
  • Positive locker room energy—focus on your job.
  • Keep first shift simple.
  • Skating, passing, shooting, positioning, contact, blocking shots, and short shifts DON'T REQUIRE TALENT—they require effort and discipline.
